Review of Jack and Jill (2011) by Christopher L — 05 Feb 2016
The strangest, most baffling (and even the most upsetting) thing about "Jack and Jill" - which, on the whole, is an entirely strange, baffling and upsetting experience - is that Al Pacino delivers a very, very good performance in it.
It is Pacino who gets every single one of the four laughs in the entire 91 minutes of this movie. Sandler's character in "Funny People" was depressed in part because of his participation in lousy, obnoxious, overproduced, unintelligent "family" fodder.
I wonder if Sandler himself feels the same shame about this piece of junk.
