Review of Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) by Maruf H — 19 Nov 2012
Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan, despite their nearly twenty years age difference, have impecable onscreen chemistry, with the latter finally providing his first onscreen lip-to-lip kissing scenes - steamy.
Kaif proves herself to be a force to be reckoned with as she takes the modernized sexiness of current Indian movies and kicks it up a few notches with that Hong Kong/UK biology - damn she is FINE. Khan retains his title as The King, providing some of the most convincing performances as an emotionless soldier, a childish romantic, and even a moment of intimidating heartbreaker.
It's not JUST a typical Indian romance drama, but one that interweaves a tense, suspenseful plot laced with the highest fiction of love that sad single people only dream of. Yash Chopra's last film is one of his, if not the, finest works - a lifetime of films with the most beautiful conclusion.
