Amazing acting and a plot that moves at a brisk pace keep the film entertaining and interesting. The film focused far too much on Edgar Hoover's supposed homosexuality with his friend and partner, and not enough on his actual accomplishments.
All in all, still a decent and fascinating glimpse into the life of an American legend.
