Review of J. Edgar (2011) by Chad S — 15 Aug 2012

I wouldn't say this was as good as I thought it was gonna be when I first saw the trailer but it certainly was better I think than it got credit for. I thought Leonardo did a awfully good job considering the story was as much about Edgar's private life as it was about the things he accomplished for the FBI.

The movie did seem a little slow but it's not like anyone should go in to this movie thinking its an action film. Not one of Eastwoods best in my opinion but not nearly one of his worst as I was led to believe by many critics.

If Edgar's life is of any interest than definitely worth a watch otherwise it might not be worth the time.
