I went in to this knowing that there was a good chance I would be bored and hate it. Luckily, that didn't end up being the case. The story was actually quite interesting and wasn't so specific/particular that only true history buffs would understand it. I liked the characters and especially enjoyed the ending. I hated the "old people" makeup/makeovers they did for the cast (though I do appreciate that they used the same actors and didn't just get older people to play the older versions). But yes, all in all, not too bad. I liked it more than I thought I would.

What did this movie teach me? J Edgar Hoover was not easy to get along with - and had no charm to speak of (as far as this portrayal is concerned).
