Review of J. Edgar (2011) by Graham K — 18 Aug 2012
This is a really funny movie. Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal is him doing this odd accent for over 2 hours straight. However, that's not nearly as funny as this movie boiling down to livejournal fan-fiction about a gay couple growing old together. The scene at the races is the best. That's when this film crosses into farce. It's a hoot.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was another piece of KGB agitprop to make one of their most power enemies look silly. If you watch this, think about that.
