Well, it took me awhile to see this, but I'm very glad I did. Dustin L. Black (writer of Milk) gives us a haunting look at J. Edgar's life, wonderfully portrayed by DiCaprio. Kudos to the acting of Armie Hammer as well.
Through this biopic, we witness Hoover's influences on politicians, criminal investigations, his own identity crisis. Happy to see Eastwood take a risk and tackle complicated subject matter.
