Review of J. Edgar (2011) by Galaxy Quest P — 21 Apr 2012

It varies its moments throughout the film from really good to kind of bad. Dicaprio does a good job, and delivers like he always does. Ever since Hammer was in the social network he began popping up in lots of rolls, but he wasn't that great of a standout in this.

The story was pretty good, very long but good. At the start it jumps backed forth from old to young J Edgar and gets a little run on and hard to follow. But once that regulates it becomes a decent watch.

I can see how everyone has been saying that the makeup is ridiculous and heavily applied as well. I also found the lighting particular bad and impaired a lot of the scenes.
