A pretty fearless approach from Eastwood to glean truth but ultimately a slight piece of work hampered by actors quite obviously (and badly) aged up. De Caprio looks as young as he ever did despite the pasted on wrinkles.
There is great historic interest here however and the detail of Hoover's obsessions is presented well.
