We saw this French film with English subtitles last night. The place was PACKED! In some interesting casting, Kristen Scott Thomas plays the lead and does a SUPERB job even in French. In fact, the performances across the board are phenomenal.
She is ESPECIALLY good, playing the character of Juliette with the perfect subtlety and angst. My only complaint is that the "big reveal" ending was telegraphed from early on, and I was left with a couple unanswered questions that I won't pose here.
Otherwise, great performances from a stellar cast.
