Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Pat O — 01 Mar 2009
A sensitive, profound film. It's a shame that Kirstin Scott Thomas wasn't given more recognition for her performance; she could have given Kate Winslet a run for her money if she were. Her nuanced delivery was a powerhouse that was utterly convincing and the tour de force of the film.
Overall a deeply moving character study, even with the (according to some people) "cop out" ending.
