Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Eric R — 07 Mar 2009
A slow burning but deeply engaging drama. Kristen Scott Thomas and Elsa Zylberstein are absolutely brilliant in their roles as Juliette and Lea, their chemistry is nothing short of believeable and their private moments together are never short of fully realised and truthful.
But there are a number of beats in the film that do feel false; forced or too obvious, although not enough to really detract from the film.
