Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Karen S — 27 Aug 2009

While the story and acting were fine, this movie painfully plods through 157 minutes and then douses those still awake with a predictable ending you saw coming if you were actually still awake. I dozed off several times and still missed nothing.

I like independent and foreign films but just because you have a film in that category, you don't have one I am going to rave about. Not only that, but after sitting through all this and discovering the ending, only the Brits would have charged her with anything other than manslaughter (but 15 years!!??).

Jeesh.......
