Ok, it is official. The biggest Oscar snub this year was Kristin Scott Thomas right here as a Best Actress nominee. This is a wonderful film led by a tour de force performance in Thomas. Go into it not reading any synopsis if you can.
Great script and shows a great sister-sister relationship throughout. Thomas here is restrained, calculating and simply brilliant. A powerful film about a woman who is trying her very best to adapt to a family and a world she has been shut out of for so very long.
