Review of I've Loved You So Long (2008) by Christine S — 04 Aug 2009
A meditative film that is gentle and well acted. The set-up of horror at the fact that Juliette had murdered her 6-year-old son creates an overall feeling of dread for viewers throughout the entire film.
By the time I got to the ending I felt a little let-down by the non-horror-movie reasoning of things. But Kristin Scott Thomas is spectacular. Had to watch the last chapter of the film, I enjoyed her acting especially there.
