When you stop thinking about "dark secret" of Kristen Scott Thomas's character and just focus on story and people's relations you'll be fully satisfied with great performances and plot.
But if you focus on mystery you'll be disappointed cause Claudel took the easy way out. But the movie is worth seeing for actors, and this french ambiance, where friends meet for diner, drink wine and discuss Rohmer's movies.
But that's exactly what we do with our free time, right ?
