Review of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966) by Lafe F — 29 Jun 2007
This is a story about faith. Linus believes in the Great Pumpkin and the others do not. It shows the others off doing pointless trick-or-treating. I wonder if Charles Shultz meant anything by all this? It's a classic, but never scary.
I recommend the "Robot Chicken" take-off of this, where the Great Pumpkin manifests itself and creates havoc for the Peanuts gang.
