Review of It's Such a Beautiful Day (2012) by Nick M — 23 Dec 2012
It's Such a Beautiful Day was like the lovechild of Tree of Life, Enter the Void & every Charlie Kaufman film in 90 minutes with stick figures. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's probably the most ambitious film on the smallest scale in the history of cinema, and for the most part works.
At times, terrifying & unsettling (for real, I got mad creeped out), deeply moving, beautiful, brutal, brilliant & inspiring.
