It's Kind of a Funny Story was not a very funny story. It was actually a very serious story with a good message about how you need to enjoy life and be thankful for what you have. Do not be fooled, Zach Galifianakis is not a super comedian in this one, he is a goofy guy with a problem who helps out the main character a lot.
The connection that was made between the 16 year old kid and the patients at the mental hospital was great to see and how he changed his perspective on life was uplifting. I really enjoy movies like this with a heart-warming story and some great scenes that just make you smile.
