I love films that revolve around the lives of teens. When you're a teen, you may feel like the rules are too restricting and that you have it bad, but it's really the best time to experience life and live care free.
The consequences are less severe and there is no real reason to give a shit. There is a great line in the movie. "Time seemed more fun, because there was more of it." And thats what living is all about.
