Review of It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010) by Josh H — 24 Nov 2011
Funny, relatable and well acted. Aside from some goofy directing choices and the underuse of characters and actors, i.e. Emma Roberts, the movie is thoroughly enjoyable and underrated. Zach Galifnakis shows he can mix his weird funny with strong emotional resonance.
Kier Gilchrist proves he does not make a convincing Freddy Mercury-esque rock star.
