Review of It's Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books (1988) by Cameron J — 17 Jan 2010
Richard Linklater's first feature (included as a supplement to the Criterion release of "Slacker") follows a young man travelling on a train, visiting his parents and so on. Almost dialogue free and focusing on the mundane (sleeping on a train, walking somewhere, watching tv), it is more than a little boring.
