Review of It's Complicated (2009) by Larry — 07 Jan 2010
I really don't get the negativity about this movie. Sure, it's not deep or outrageous or wonderfully novel and clever. And, it is a bit long. Nevertheless, it has a solid storyline and most of the characters are solid.
Most important, however, is that the film is actually funny. Some of the gags have been around a long time, but most are fresh, adult and fun. I saw it with an audience of people mostly over 50. The women, in particular, were cackling and guffawing loudly and frequently.
I think someone must be at least a worldly and married 25 yrs or older to have a reasonable appreciation of this film.
