Review of It's Complicated (2009) by Andrea C — 27 Nov 2010
Desperately searching for more modern day romantic comedies as sophisticated and charming as this one. Forget the annoying, clunky writing for the kids' roles - the movie's not about them. Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin are completely enthralling throughout, and the nuances in each relationship feel familiar and somehow comforting.
Doesn't hurt that all of the settings are beautiful, either.
