My movie-time is far more limited than I would like, so I try to use it wisely. It's so not worth my time to watch powerful actors send superficial, and even insulting, messages about marriage and family: good women bake and don't have sex, children should be protected from life's messiness even into their late 20s, young women who marry older men are evil.
.. . If this was going for comedy, it missed it's opportunity on many occasions. There were many missed opportunities for a witty exploration of family and life post 50 for single women, and with such an power group of actors, oh what they might have done! Too bad.
