Review of It's Complicated (2009) by Paul E — 10 Feb 2012
Ah, the trials and tribulations of wealthy liberals. Well, it IS a Nancy Meyers film (she also did Something's Gotta Give and The Holiday) so you go in with that expectation. But, with this cast, it can't help but be entertaining.
I could watch Streep read the phone book and Baldwin is his usual wacky (and very funny) self. Martin is a bit wasted in thankless role - not sure how he gets billing over Baldwin in this - but he's good.
A good "rainy day" flick. Don't expect a masterpiece and you'll likely not be disappointed.
