Review of It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004) by Thiago A — 20 Jan 2008
This movie is something quite close to brilliant. And it's also multinational. The DJ is British, the redemption is typically American and the scenario is the marvelous Spanish Ibiza.
However, it is British by nature. The humour within is just too smart to be from anywhere else. For a moment you can believe the guy is real. Paul Kaye delivers a very real performance of someone that could be himself in real life. Far from being perfect, but an enjoyful pseudo-documentary.
