Review of It's Alive (1974) by Dave C — 05 Sep 2008
Bizarro B-horror movie from the 70's about a woman who gives birth to a killer mutant baby. Yeah its low-grade all the way but I have to admit there is a certain undeniable charm to this schlock fest.
Whats cool is that the director doesn't show you what the baby looks like throughout most of the movie. Instead, he uses a Baby POV cam so you can see him (or it) move across the suburban landscape in search of its next victim.
Its a bit slow but overall its a good cheesy late-night popcorn flick.
