Review of It's Alive (1974) by John O — 23 Jul 2010
Despite some pacing problems it actually manages this absolutely ridiculous premise fairly well. The scene where John Ryan tries to console his mutant of a son is actually on the verge of heartbreaking.
Larry Cohen could of done much worse with this concept but he made managed to keep under control.
