Review of It's a Wonderful Life (1946) by Adrian D — 15 Apr 2012
Frank Capra's timeless film is undeniably one of the most remarkable cinematic masterpieces of all time, and is a holiday tradition to be adored by the whole family. The film dazzles in it's stunning perfection, consisting of an amazing cast, powerful human drama, good-hearted humour and a truly inspiring story.
Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of the film, is that the audience becomes so greatly invested within the characters, that they begin to litterally feel the emotions deep inside them, and become so greatly moved by this wonderful tale.
It is the type of film that allows one to shed tears through the tragic moments of the story and cry with joy through some of the most heartwarming scenes in cinematic history. It remains today as an unforgettable classic, which delivers a good message that can melt even the coldest heart, and should be well cherished during the Christmas season.
