A Wonderful Life (1946), directed by Frank Capra is a tale about a man named George Bailey who considers himself a failure at life. A drastic financial crisis and criminal charges make Bailey consider commiting suicide.
But right before he does, an angel named Clarence stops him and shows him what the community would be like without him. After an epiphany, George realizes he is a valued member of the community and that his prescence is greatly needed.
