(5 Stars) It's a Wonderful Life is very deserving of being one of the greatest Christmas movies ever. Whenever I watch it, I always get emotionally invested in it and the iconic ending that's so undeniably happy and fit for Christmas is a great payoff.
You cannot help but smile for George Bailey. And what a wonderful message: how one man who may feel insignificant at times can change the lives of many; it's referenced in many movies like Back to the Future Part II, Eternal Sunshine, and Click.
There are a lot of "essential" Christmas movies in my book (A Christmas Story, Die Hard, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and Muppet Christmas Carol) but It's a Wonderful Life's final ten minutes had me feeling warm the most.
