Review of It's a Wonderful Life (1946) by Alfonso D — 27 Dec 2012
This movie is perfect in every sense you see it: magic, inspiring, romantic. The script is a masterpiece. Jimmy Stewart's acting is incredible, and Donna Reed is an angel herself. The story is so full of implications and analysis.
In this modern times when New Age thinkers sells the idea to only think about you, you and you, this story shines with a beautiful moral. if you think about the others you will be the richest man on earth.
No need to add anything else. But, in addition to that, we have "the greatest gift of all" that is to show to the main character how the world would be without him: a sort of alternate universe.
That is something so deep. Very deep that most people should take in account. The ending is one of the most touching ending I have ever seen. In one word, this movie is magic. A must see, not only in christmas, but any time of the year.
