I watch it every year at Christmas time with my family. We are Jewish. This has nothing to do with the holidays beyond the fact that it takes place at Christmastime. This is an inspirational movie, a feel good movie, and a movie that is full of heart and togetherness.
The story is one that's been done several times, but I think it's easy to see this as one of the best examples of it.
