Review of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) by Karen E — 12 Dec 2007
An ABSURD movie with a ridiculously stacked cast, this comedy could never be mimicked or duplicated. sid caesar will remain my favourite cameo, though ethel merman's obnoxious hold on the hilariously intrusive mother-in-law is strident and brilliant at the same time.
you don't see comedy giants like these anymore, despite what will ferrell and vince vaughn fans will tell you.
