Review of It's a Free World... (2007) by Pierre P — 21 Jan 2008
Ken Loach has always been an activist, his films bring to stage those anonymous heroes or those forgotten of modern day society... Sometimes he is a bit manicheist, sometimes too naif, yet with this film he proves, at 72, to be in excellent form! This is great cinema, great european cinema, entertaining, actual, efficient and socially and politically engaged! A must! And even his personnal mark, the three-legged dog isn't missing!
