Review of It's a Free World... (2007) by David Q — 19 Nov 2007
A bit of a disappointment as i've come to expect a lot from a Ken Loach film. lacked the poignancy that's associated with his work, definitely a step down from "The Wind That Shakes the Barley.
despite a good turn from Kierston Wareing, it's hard to sympathize with her character who exploits others in the same or a worse situation than her. as with all Loach's films, still has a few interesting things to say and is worth a look.
