Review of It's a Boy Girl Thing (2006) by William M — 26 Jun 2010
I gotta say, when I saw this movie, I really liked it. It was cute and funny and the main actress of Samaire Armstrong was adorable. :) The two leads in this movie played well together and did well acting like the opposite sex I'd say. And the fact that Sharon Osbourne was in this one, cool. I didn't recognize her at first but her voice was recognizable in the movie and it was neat to see her.
As for the story, it is funny. Two neighbours who really don't get along and annoy one another, or rather a female neighbour who is annoyed by her male neighbour mostly, while on a field trip together, activate an ancient Mayan god who puts a spell on them which causes them to switch bodies. And the fun thing for them both is that in a week, they've each got life altering events coming up: he has a big football game where scouts might see him play which could lead to him getting a scholarship to a college, and she has an interview for a spot at Yale University.
If you don't mind teenaged humour, you'll enjoy the film.
