Review of It Runs in the Family (2003) by David F — 10 Oct 2008
Sprawling family drama is little more than an excuse to get the Douglas family on screen together. While the focus is squarely set on the three generations of men, it's the performance by Bernadette Peters as the wife in the middle generation that you'll remember when the film comes to an end.
Another film that plays like an extended pilot for a family drama, a medium in which this tale could be tole infinitely greater success.
