Is it just me, or does it seem obvious that director Davis Guggenheim may be a slight U2 fan? By far the most time was spent listening to The Edge reminisce, play guitar, and explain his methodology. Then there was Jack White who comes off as arrogantly anti-technology and anti-just-about-everything-in-the-music-industry. He spends his monologues and solo sequences talking tough about authenticity, and yet when he's sitting with Page and Edge, the amount of sucking up he does is painful to watch. Page just seems aloof (at least when with the other 2 guitarists).

There's one heartbreaking moment when Jack and Edge (both great singers) are trying to come up with the vocal parts to the 3 guitarists' collaborative cover of "Take a Load Off Sally," and Page sheepishly says "I can't sing." You almost want to hug him as he watches the other 2 harmonize. You can tell he wishes he could join them.

The jam-session between the 3 on Zeppelin's "Ramble On" is probably the best part of the entire documentary. Brilliant interplaying.

This is really more geared towards guitarists and music-enthusiasts. I'd imagine it'd be tough for others to really get into it.
