Review of It Might Get Loud (2008) by Heather C — 06 Aug 2010
I can't talk at any length about Jimmy Page without getting goopy, so I'll just say, it wouldn't have mattered who the other two guitarists were -- I didn't want this to end. The grin on Pagey's face while listening to Link Wray's "Rumble" was brilliant, and the looks on the Edge's and Jack White's faces when Page broke into the opening riffs of "Whole Lotta Love" were of the students at the feet of the master, despite their own respective successes.
Take a lesson, Jack. Minus one star for flawed pacing and "story" construction.
