Review of It Happened One Night (1958) by Chris C — 10 Jul 2008
One of those as close-to-perfect-as-possible films. Infectious, terrifc screwball with one of the best on-screen romances. Also has value to modern viewers for its depiction of class values and divisions in the Great Depression.
Gable and Colbert have great chemistry even 70 years later. A timeless gem.
