Review of It Happened One Night (1958) by Randy P — 05 Aug 2008
It's got that great 30's/40's dialogue that I love, and Gable and Colbert have great chemistry, but the script loses its way with about 30 minutes left, and it just drags and drags until the end we all knew was coming anyway.
That keeps it from getting the full monty. On a side note, anytime Claudette Colbert wakes up from sleeping in this movie, it's just about the most adorable thing ever.
