"QUIT BAWLING! QUIT BAWLING!!!" How could a chick flick sweep the Oscars? Oh yeah, it's that good! Why can't modern chick flicks be this much fun? I guess you could argue that this story is similar to many others.
.. but why settle for imposters? Gable is gigantically funny and doll-faced Colbert is as cute as a rich and snooty button could ever be. I watch this and end up quoting it cleverly for weeks afterwards, if only I could be this funny.
Pity some would pass this up to watch supposedly humorous chick flicks like ___________ (whatever). This old Black & White is Pure Gold.
