Review of It Happened One Night (1958) by Will C — 09 Dec 2010
Great give and take between Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert throughout this whole film. You really get to root for both of them--first as individuals--and then as a couple you want to see get together.
Gable has some great zingers in this one, too, and the script has some great punch, in general. Even the minor characters--such as the trusting old couple who loaned Clark Gable their car--are memorable in their own right.
An all-around great film.
