''It Happened One Night'' was a trendsetter for the screwball romantic-comedy formula, and for all its influence on the genre, it's still as fresh and entertaining today. It was the first winner of the ''Big Five'' (Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Screenplay), thoroughly deserving of each award.
I loved every minute of this film; one of those instant favourites for me. Highly recommended.
