It Happened One Night is a riveting tale of triumphant love. Clark Gable plays Peter Warren, a rough around the edges New York reporter, who is a perfect working-class foil to Claudette Colbert's pampered rich girl, Ellie Andrews.
The two engage in an unlikely but charming romance, that is rife with intriguing tension. You can't help but root for Ellie's underlying desire for freedom and real love.
