Review of It Happened One Night (1934) by Interfan841 . — 25 Feb 2011
A terrific romantic comedy with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert at the top of their game! Nearly 80 years since it was made, the film never seemed outdated but instead is still fresh and enjoyable. It flowed on smoothly from the start and remained so till the end.
It is the film credited to starting the screwball comedy genre and rightly so. Simply put, a remarkable achievement that I will be enjoying for decades to come!
