Absolutely deserving of the Oscar Sweep, this enthralling black-and-white film kept me entertained and intruiged throughout the whole of it. Clark Gable is the perfect actor for this part, and he played it so well I almost forgot it was a movie.
Claudette Colbert was a great actress, but in my opinion her make-up and hairstyle was a bit distracting. Frank Capra is wonderful, and this masterpiece of a film is his best work. Quite funny, and a unique and quirky plot, this deserves its five stars.
