Review of It Happened One Night (1934) by Rose H — 01 Nov 2009
This had all the spirit of later comedies that wouldn't come for decades. It is amazing how well Clark Gable did comedy. It is too bad he never really did it again. I really love the pacing of this film.
There are a lot of quick cuts and it movies the story much faster than other films of its time. Just leave it to Frank Capra to touch your heart with a film. He's one of the only directors that does that for me.
